About the role
The Dialysis Registered Nurse at PAM Health is responsible for:
- Utilizing the nursing process
- Delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients
- Interdisciplinary planning
- Discharge planning
- Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
- Accessing community resources
- Oversight of dialysis treatments for patients with kidney failure
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse must have:
- An RN license in the state they are applying
- A current BLS certification
- A current ACLS certification (initially required, then required after 90 days of employment)
- ACLS certification is required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU positions
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required
