Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift, Oncology (Acute Care)

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, and safe care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices, and adapt care to patient demographics and cultural diversity.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based, individualized care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and teamwork.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development.
• Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
