Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift, Oncology (Acute Care)

About the role

You will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
• Partner with patients and families, ensuring culturally sensitive, relationship-based care that aligns with patient goals.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and a respectful environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
• Support professional development as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
