About the role
Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Step Down to join our dedicated team. This position supports patients and community members in our facilities, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with patients and families to provide care and support.
- Administers medications and performs clinical treatments as part of the patient’s care plan.
- Maintains accurate documentation of patient care and communicates this information to the care team, physicians, and family members.
- Assists patients with daily activities such as hygiene, eating, and mobility.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Evaluates patient learning needs and educates patients and families about their health conditions.
- Works collaboratively to promote the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Kentucky.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but not required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
