About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, manages a group of patients, and utilizes the nursing process, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Performing unit-specific duties
• Implementing and adjusting care plans based on assessments
• Documenting nursing care
• Ensuring patient and staff safety
• Conducting initial patient assessments
• Developing and modifying care plans
• Performing interventions, especially for CVICU patients (post-op CABG, vascular, ICU status)
• Hourly patient rounding
• Proactive assistance to colleagues and patients

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• RN licensure
• ACLS certification within a year
• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant work experience
