The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering educational programs for nursing and clinical staff. This role promotes continuous learning, professional development, clinical excellence, and safe, high-quality patient care throughout the organization. Build a Career That Makes a Difference Coordinate and facilitate orientation programs for new nursing staff and patient care team membersDevelop and deliver engaging educational sessions, classroom instruction, and clinical training programsMaintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification and provide ongoing emergency response educationAssess educational and competency needs related to clinical practice, equipment, policies, procedures, and quality initiativesCollaborate with leadership teams to support staff development and performance improvement effortsConduct competency evaluations and implement remediation or additional training when neededCreate evidence-based educational materials and continuing education opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of training attendance and educational activities in compliance with regulatory standards including Joint Commission and NYSDOH requirementsUtilize a variety of teaching methods including presentations, online learning modules, simulations, demonstrations, and hands-on training What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience1 year long-term care experience preferredCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license through NYSEDCurrent BLS Certification through the American Heart Association Support for Your Life and Career Competitive Pay & Sign On BonusMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement Savings PlanPTO, Sick Time, and Paid HolidaysOngoing Training and Career DevelopmentSupportive, team-focused work environment Apply Today!
