Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry - $34-45 per hour

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Hamtramck, Michigan. Full‑time, day shift. In addition to direct patient care, the Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, staffing coordination, process improvement, education, and performance appraisal support for the telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Function as lead and resource person for nursing personnel; act as clinical resource and assist clinical manager in planning/facilitating staff meetings and staff development.
• Collaborate with manager in prospective monitoring of the schedule to assure adequate nurse‑patient ratio; review monthly schedule and communicate staffing changes to staffing office.
• Facilitate shared decision making among staff and improve unit throughput to reduce length of stay.
• Coordinate/provide in‑service programs to maintain or enhance staff competence based on identified patient‑care needs.
• Assist manager with interview, selection, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Participate in development of policies, procedures, and standards for the department.
• Assist with department process improvement and peer review activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• One to two years of progressively responsible experience with evidence of increasing leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate, and facilitate processes.
• Minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria (preferred for internal candidates).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Pay

Up to $25,000 sign‑on bonus, based on relevant experience.
