Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating Operating Room - Full-Time Day

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care within the operating room environment. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized care, utilizing evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and patient-centered approaches. Key Responsibilities Perform the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to patient needs and cultural diversity.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, respectful communication, and clinical standards.Support performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes.Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment.Uphold organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including safety goals.Participate in protocol development, data collection, and resource management to optimize care delivery. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
