Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating Operating Room - Full-Time Day

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers and adhere to evidence-based standards, the WellStar Professional Practice Model, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care, engaging patients and families through effective communication and education.Coordinate and document safe, quality care using interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance care quality and safety.Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and foster a healthy work environment.Promote evidence-based practice, participate in data collection, and develop protocols to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.Current RN license (single or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and additional certifications as required.Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Additional Details: This role involves working Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.
