Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating Operating Room - Full-Time Day

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in the operating room environment. They collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, clinical standards, and ethical guidelines. This role emphasizes relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, with a focus on optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.Coordinate safe, quality care delivery, promoting teamwork and respectful interdisciplinary collaboration.Support performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes and professional practice.Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering a skilled, competent workforce and a healthy work environment.Participate in protocol development, data collection, and resource management to optimize care and reduce adverse events. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.Current RN license (single or multi-state), with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Additional Information: The role involves a Monday to Friday day shift with call responsibilities. Compensation includes sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
