About the role

A few of our perks include creating your own schedule, great work/life balance, and a starting hourly wage of $47 per hour, including 100% of the hourly wage paid for drive time. We provide in-home care to former Nuclear Weapons Workers with chronic/terminal illnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home nursing visits for our clients, typically lasting 1-2 hours per visit.
  • Ensure home safety with medical equipment and supplies.
  • Fill weekly medication planners and oversee skilled and non-skilled caregivers providing care in the client's home.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate care provided.
  • Coordinate and manage client care conferences as needed.
  • Serve as a local on-site clinical resource and support to ensure client’s home care needs are met.
  • Collaborate with staffing coordinators to ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling of personnel.
  • Adhere to nursing delegation guidelines and ensure adherence to Agency policies.
  • Document and report on infections, occurrences, complaints, and grievances.
  • Perform supervisory visits and review nurse shift reports for adherence to policy and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Participate in interviewing, selection, and ongoing evaluation of clinical personnel.
  • Train and educate clinical personnel and validate competency.
  • Manage and track equipment in the client's home.
  • Support marketing efforts by visiting with clients or physicians to discuss Agency programs.
  • Participate in all Agency performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state-approved school of professional registered nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience, including one (1) year in home care or closely related field.
  • One (1) year of supervisory and/or case management experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.

Pay

$47.00 hourly plus shift differentials, where applicable.
