Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Laboratory Adult

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.
• Develops a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family using the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred
• One (1) year RN experience; two (2) or more years in this specific clinical area preferred
• Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as Registered Nurse in State of CT
• Ability to obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), certifications within 90 days of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
