Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab Manager

About the role

The RN Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides leadership and oversees daily operations within the unit, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct patient care operations, supporting staff and mentoring team members.
• Delegate tasks according to legal and professional standards.
• Maintain departmental performance, support staff development, and provide direct patient care when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with patient care standards and resource management to optimize productivity and control costs.
• Communicate effectively with leadership to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure.
• At least one year of progressive management or leadership experience in a hospital setting.

Certifications

• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP certifications required or obtained within specified timeframes.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
