About the role
Leadership position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for managing daily clinical operations and staff support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities in the unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient nursing practices.
- Lead, mentor, and support staff, delegating tasks appropriately within legal and professional standards.
- Manage resource utilization to optimize productivity and control costs.
- Communicate effectively with leadership to maintain care standards and support department goals.
- Provide direct patient care and serve as a resource to staff when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure.
- At least one year of progressive management or leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP certifications within specified timeframes based on department.
- Preferred candidates hold a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
