About the role
The Registered Nurse will manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimal outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. They will demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with chronic wounds that are not healing properly.
- Perform initial assessments and chart patient information.
- Provide discharge instructions and dressing changes.
- Function in a case management role within the Anderson Wound Care Clinic.
Requirements
- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of Community Health Network.
- Graduate from an NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program.
- Have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Indiana license in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
