About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment, impacting patients, families, and visitors with kindness, respect, and compassion. In the Acute Stroke Unit, you work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care during primary prevention and acute stroke phases.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care tailored to patient needs
- Perform comprehensive assessments and communicate findings
- Develop, document, and revise individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety protocols
- Complete clinical research forms and continuing education requirements
- Maintain BLS certification and participate in mandatory training
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- RN license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 6 months of experience
Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Medium work, involving walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
Pay
Pay Range: $38.66 - $51.91
Schedule
Hours Per Week: Part Time - 24 Hours/Week
Schedule: Night
