About the Role
Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team. Supports patient wellness, safety, and outcomes while precepting new staff and embracing ongoing learning in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care on specialized units with moderate to high patient acuity.
- Contribute to safe, effective, and personalized patient care practices.
- Participate in specialty education, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Model professional proficiency and foster a collaborative team approach.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.
- State RN licensure and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience and NIHSS certification within 6 months.
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
