Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Women’s Unit

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) on the Women’s Unit, providing GYN/post-surgical care during night shifts. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Foster relationship-based, culturally sensitive patient care, partnering with patients and families. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and ethical guidelines. Promote teamwork through effective communication and documentation, support performance improvement initiatives, and participate in research and evidence-based practice. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, and contribute to developing protocols for optimal outcomes. Plan care across the continuum and utilize resources efficiently. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s Degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), valid RN license (single or multi-state), and Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong English communication, computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient safety.
