About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care on the Women’s Unit, specializing in GYN and post-surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practices.
- Partners with patients and families, ensuring culturally sensitive, individualized care.
- Coordinates interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and promotes a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Practices within clinical standards, supports performance improvement, and participates in research and evidence-based initiatives.
- Mentors peers, completes ongoing competency assessments, and supports professional development.
- Develops protocols, optimizes resource use, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, NRP, and instructor certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in clinical technology and capable of responding effectively in fast-paced environments.
