About the role
This RN position provides direct patient care in a Medical Unit, utilizing a top of scope nursing practice within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Prioritize safety, quality, wellness, and a patient perspective in clinical practice.
- Precept and mentor new healthcare team members to foster professional growth.
- Manage moderate to high-acuity patients in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units.
- Participate in specialty education and competency validation supported by Clinical Educators.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (less than 3 years' experience) or equivalent education.
- Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 6 months nursing experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability skills.
