Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Perioperative

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process, adapt care to diverse populations, and foster relationships with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based clinical practices, coordinate care, and ensure individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively across teams, document care accurately, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance care quality.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, support professional development, and uphold organizational policies and standards.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license and relevant certifications including BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum of 5 years recent, relevant acute care nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills; proficient in technology and communication.
