Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology FT Nights

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practice and professional standards. They ensure individualized care by performing the nursing process, partnering with patients and families, and practicing in compliance with state and professional regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and preferences.Collaborate with team members through effective communication and documentation to promote safe, quality outcomes.Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.Mentor and serve as preceptor to foster a skilled, future-ready nursing workforce.Engage in resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 5 years RN experience; direct patient care experience preferred.Active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required upon hire.Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills; proficient in technology use.
