Registered Nurse ( RN ) - 9th Floor -Stroke Med Surg

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
Schedule: 72 hours per pay period, every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred
• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medical staff (normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time)
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEUs for relicensure
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of MGHP
