Registered Nurse ( RN ) - 9th Floor Neuro/Med Surg

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
Schedule: 72 hours per pay period, every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide evidenced-based medicine and individualized patient care
• Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience
• Familiarize with hospital and department policies and procedures
• Requisition ancillary department services
• Maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification
• Complete required CEUs for relicensure
• Articulate and demonstrate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of MGHP

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
• For specialty areas, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred
• 1–3 months of orientation to acquire familiarity with hospital and department policies, procedures, and medical staff
