Registered Nurse ( RN ) - 9th Floor Neuro/Med Surg

Full-time, 12-hour day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For specialty-area RN positions, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• Must be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department services, and familiarity with the medical staff (typically acquired through 1–3 months of orientation).
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required continuing education units (CEUs) for relicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of the organization.
