Responsibilities
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, Medication Technicians, and Restorative Aides on the 3–11 shift
- Provide direct care, including medications, wound care, IVs, tube feedings, colostomy care, and suctioning
- Transcribe and carry out the physician's orders
- Monitor residents and report changes to physicians and families
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Conduct rounds to ensure staff follow policies and resident needs are met
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in QAPI activities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including infection control
- Support team development, performance evaluations, and staff guidance
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current CPR certification
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
