Position Summary
Maintains the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to providing excellent patient care with direction from Charge RN or Physicians. Responsible for maintaining appropriate logs and licenses for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines, and medications under regulatory guidelines. Manages storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Works closely with physicians, Medical Director, and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring, and respectful manner. Documents accurately in the EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.
About the Role
Ensures the smooth operation of the clinical area, supports patient care, and collaborates with various departments to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate logs and licenses for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines, and medications under regulatory guidelines.
- Manage storage and inventory of clinical supplies.
- Work closely with physicians, Medical Director, and Management.
- Provide direct patient care in a courteous, caring, and respectful manner.
- Document accurately in the EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of formal coursework equivalent to a minimum of an associate's degree in nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of operations in a medical practice environment preferred.
Qualifications
- Current and valid New Jersey RN license.
- Current and valid BCLS certification.
- Effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management).
- Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).

- Knowledge of computer and software applications (Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EMR).
