Join a unique nurse residency program designed to support new graduates transitioning into professional nursing roles. This role involves providing safe, patient-centered care across diverse populations under the supervision of nursing leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Assessing patient and family needs through comprehensive data collection
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
- Coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, culturally sensitive, and age-appropriate services
- Engaging patients and families in the care process
- Conducting medication reconciliation and managing patient risk factors
- Adhering to nursing practice standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Current or soon-to-be licensed RN in the relevant state
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- Additional certifications like ACLS or chemo certification within the first year, depending on unit
- Minimum 2-year degree; preferred 4-year degree and recent healthcare experience
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus
