Job Details

The Nurse Residency Program (NRP) is designed to support new graduate nurses during their transition from student to licensed RN roles. It provides ongoing professional and educational support through in-person and virtually-enhanced education and support.

Nurse residents are responsible for delivering excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, establishing goals, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating patient care outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Graduate nurses from accredited schools of nursing with a minimum 3.0 GPA and less than 12 months of professional nursing experience.
• Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
• St. Luke's Brazosport, St. Luke's Patients Medical Center, St. Luke's Sugar Land, St. Luke's Vintage, and St. Luke's Woodlands: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) (required) or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
• Successfully passed the NCLEX before the October 12th, 2026 start date with an unencumbered license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.
