Registered Nurse Residency / RN Fall 2026

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, patient-centered care across diverse populations under the supervision of nursing leadership.
• Assessing patient and family needs, developing and adjusting individualized care plans, and evaluating care outcomes.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure culturally competent, age-appropriate, and safe care.
• Performing clinical skills, medication reconciliation, and identifying patient-specific risks to ensure quality care.
• Engaging patients and families in the care process and adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current or soon-to-be licensed Kansas RN and BLS certification.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, chemo) required within specified timelines.
• Minimum 2-year degree; preferred 4-year degree and relevant experience.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
