Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation
About the role
Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, a member of Lifepoint Health, operates a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our collaborative, multidisciplinary team fosters a supportive culture focused on patient outcomes, professional growth, and work-life balance. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, brain or spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.
How You'll Contribute
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
