Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation

About the role

Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position for inpatient rehabilitation, working weekend night shifts (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday) from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient conditions to communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and families.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide patient education tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate across disciplines for patient transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being and ensure quality care through outcome measurement.
• Utilize clinical expertise to develop care plans and incorporate best practices and technology.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina (or compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of RN experience (preferred but not required).
