Registered Nurse, Recovery Room, Per Diem Day/Eves

About the role

Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: One - three years of previous medical/surgical and/or PACU experience preferred.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS Required.

Qualifications

• License: Current license issued by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.

Skills

• Knowledge of the nursing process.
• Ability to provide care to a variety of patients.
