Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Days

Position: Registered Nurse in Pulmonary Medicine Unit, handling higher acuity patients Location: Elmhurst, IL Hours: 24 hours/week, 7am–7pm, with every 3rd weekend and holiday track Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate care plans, assess patient health data, communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, provide culturally sensitive education, support professional development of colleagues, assist with technical procedures, participate in quality improvement and research activities, monitor wound/ostomy care if skilled, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), active Illinois RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, CPR certification. Experience in inpatient nursing is highly preferred. Skills: Strong assessment and communication skills, ability to collaborate within a team, and commitment to patient-centered care.
