Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Days

Position: Registered Nurse in Pulmonary Medicine Unit, providing care for higher acuity patients. Location: Elmhurst, IL. Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate individualized care plans, assess patient health data, communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and provide education tailored to patient needs. Support clinical education, promote a compassionate environment, assist technical staff with procedures, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA. Conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if experienced, and assist with patient transport as needed. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, active Illinois RN license, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and inpatient nursing experience. Skills: Strong communication, assessment, patient education, teamwork, and clinical skills. Ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive care environment.
