Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Lab - Full Time Days

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing practices based on evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Performs comprehensive data collection and assessment focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Develops and coordinates a plan of care that includes patient-centered goals and interventions.
• Communicates with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans.
• Administers medications using bar-scanning technology and documents care accurately.
• Maintains continuity of care during multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions.
• Evaluates patient progress and initiates appropriate interventions based on clinical observations.
• Adapts to changing patient needs and maintains a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate's degree in Nursing or a diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and willing to obtain within three years of hire.
• A current and valid Registered Nurse license at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• At least six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in HMH's Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate strong teamwork and patient focus.
• National Certification in the area of specialty preferred.
