Registered Nurse - (Cath Lab) - Full Time Days

About the role

The RN utilizes the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on his/her assigned unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice.
• Serves as a resource to other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Assists in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of department specific orientation and department specific certifications of Basic Life Support (BLS), and an EKG class to be completed within the 3 month introductory period.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
