Registered Nurse - PRN/Nights

Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly, builds collaborative relationships, maintains a safe environment, and ensures accurate documentation
• Administers medications and IV therapy safely
• Supports patient education
• Takes responsibility for performance, professional growth, and improving patient experience
• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver quality care throughout each episode of care

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Texas nursing license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program
• Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
• Works with confidentiality
• Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills

• Ability to handle hazardous conditions such as exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants
• Physically capable of standing, moving, lifting, and performing patient care activities
