About the role
Registered nurse providing professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care while supporting hospital standards and fostering a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Educate patients, families, and significant others, ensuring understanding of care plans.
- Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of patient information.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and promptly.
- Take personal responsibility for professional growth and performance.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality care throughout the patient episode.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility.
- At least six months of RN experience.
