Registered Nurse - PRN/Nights

About the role

Registered Nurse providing professional nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to hospital standards to foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others, ensuring understanding of care plans.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of patient information.
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Take responsibility for professional growth and performance.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality patient care throughout the care episode.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of six months RN experience.
