Wellpath serves hundreds of thousands of unique individuals monthly, with a significant percentage receiving direct clinical care, including life-saving interventions like Narcan. Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to deliver patient education and activities aligned with your competencies and education
  • Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as needed
  • Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures
  • Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care following established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
  • Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, healthcare unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinic experience preferred
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification
