Registered Nurse - PRN/Night

About the Role

A Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the care team. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and advocacy. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through involvement in councils and activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and coordinate optimal patient flow.
• Deliver safe, effective care following policies, documenting assessments, care, and incidents.
• Address patient concerns, educate families, and promote patient-centered care.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support organizational goals.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Foster a positive work environment, mentor colleagues, and uphold professional standards.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
• Valid nursing license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1-year nursing experience.
