About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. This dual-focused role supports both pre-surgical preparation and post-anesthesia recovery, fostering a collaborative environment with anesthesia, surgery, and perioperative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Absorb and evaluate patient information from various sources, including other healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient, family, and team involvement.
  • Direct the care team, delegate tasks, and coordinate care to meet patient needs and outcomes.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Promote the nursing profession and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
  • Must obtain BSN within four years of hire if not already completed.
  • Experience: Less than 12 months of experience may require a BSN within four years of hire.

Pay

$37.45 - $57.29 per hour, actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Weekdays, Four 9-hour shifts, Call shifts required.
