Registered Nurse - Pre and Post Surgery

About the role

This position is in the Surgery Recovery Room, requiring full-time, rotating shifts. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, serving as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, and ensuring physician and nursing orders are carried out. The nurse assesses and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and communicate patient care plans
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care
• Execute physician and nursing orders
• Assess and plan patient discharge needs

Qualifications

• Valid RN license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi-state license
• BLS certified within 30 days of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school

Skills

Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience in med/surg or procedural settings.
