Registered Nurse - Pre and Post Surgery

About the role

Provides direct patient care in the Surgery Recovery Room, implementing and monitoring care plans, communicating patient conditions, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee patient care plans, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
• Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders precisely.
• Assess discharge needs and collaborate with the healthcare team for planning.
• Deliver quality patient care, ensure proper documentation, coordinate discharge planning, and serve as a communication link among care team members.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in med/surg or procedural settings.
