Registered Nurse - Pre and Post Surgery

About the role

Provides patient care in the Surgery Recovery Room, implementing and monitoring care plans, recording patient conditions, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Acts as a primary coordinator to ensure well‑coordinated patient care, executes physician and nursing orders, and assesses discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient progress.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support discharge processes to promote optimal recovery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi‑state license.
• BLS certification obtained within one month of hire.
• Preferred: at least 2 years of experience in med/surg or procedural settings.

Additional Requirements

• Education from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• All necessary certifications must be completed prior to employment.
