About the role
This PRN registered nurse role is based in Milwaukee at a hospital’s Family Birth Center.
Responsibilities
- Delivering postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns
- Monitoring vital signs
- Administering medications
- Providing patient education
- Caring for gynecologic patients
- Managing acute conditions
- Supporting recovery
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Wisconsin or a multi-state license
- BLS certification within 30 days
- An accredited nursing diploma
Qualifications
- Compassionate and supportive approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of postpartum and gynecologic care
