Role Overview
The position involves providing patient care within the Mother/Baby department, implementing and monitoring care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, and assessing discharge needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and communicate patient care plans and monitor patient conditions.
- Serve as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state license.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications within 6 months.
- Postpartum experience preferred.
- Educational requirement includes a diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.
