Registered Nurse - PM/Nights

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform professional nursing duties including patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and outcome evaluation.
• Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise staff.
• Collaborate with departments for admissions, transfers, and discharge communication.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop comprehensive care plans, incorporating medical and psychosocial needs.
• Contribute to departmental goals, participate in program evaluation, and assist in staff orientation and training.
• Supervise direct patient care as needed, working within budget constraints.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing degree
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• CPI certification within 90 days (preferred)
• Preference for psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems management
