Registered Nurse - PM/Nights

Position: Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a psychiatric setting. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.Welcomes patients, maintains a safe, therapeutic environment, and supervises staff as needed.Collaborates with departments to facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring effective communication.Engages with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and participate in interdisciplinary planning.Supports department goals, participates in training, and mentors students; evaluates staff suggestions and performance.Supervises patient care activities, manages resources within budget, and promotes professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license.CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems.Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong communication skills.
